Abstract
The search for competitiveness on the part of companies is a matter of survival. Competitiveness is obtained by the development of capabilities and competitive strategies. The objective of this work is to examine the innovation and technology capabilities, administration capabilities and human resources capabilities with the three generic competitive strategies. In this document, I propose a capabilities model of development through three competitive strategies which are: Total leadership in costs, differentiation and approach or focus in segmentation.
