Abstract

The Institute for the Future is an independent, nonprofit research group engaged in futures research and long-range planning activities. Its primary aims are: to enlarge understanding of technological, environmental and social changes and their long-range consequences; to develop new methodology for these tasks; and to make the results of this research known to the public.
