Abstract

•Examines the convergence of India’s 17 major tourist source markets.•Employees recently proposed RALS-LM unit root test that of Meng and Lee (2012).•Identifies convergent and non-convergent tourist arrivals source markets.•Discusses policy implication, and provides way to future direction of research.
