Ar-Ge Göstergeleri Açýsýndan Türkiye ve Geliþmiþ Ülkelerle Kýyaslamasý

Abstract

Bilim ve teknoloji temeline dayalý olan yeni ekonomik anlayýþta Ar-Ge, firmalarýn rekabet üstünlüðü saðlayarak, karlý bir biçimde faaliyetlerini sürdürebilmeleri için gerekli bir koþul haline gelmiþtir. Söz konusu bilim ve teknolojiyi elde etmek ya da mevcut bilgilerle yeni malzeme, ürün ve araçlar üretmek; yazýlým üretimini kapsamak üzere yeni sistem, süreç ve hizmetler yaratmak veyahut mevcutlarý geliþtirmek Ar-Ge faaliyetlerinin düzenli þekilde yapýlabilmesi ile mümkündür. Firmalarýn gerçekleþtirmiþ olduðu bu faaliyetler topluluðu, bütünsel anlamda ele alýndýðýnda bir ekonominin büyüme çarklarýný oluþturmaktadýr. Ülke ekonomisinin diðer ülke ekonomileri ile rekabet edebilmesi için, Ar-Ge faaliyetlerinin aðýrlýðýnýn hissedilir oranda olmasý gerekmektedir. Bu çalýþmada Türkiye’nin Ar-Ge faaliyetleri açýsýndan dünyadaki geliþmiþ ekonomilere göre yerinin tespiti amaçlanmýþtýr.
