Abstract

La Globalización se presenta desafiante a los Estados en la realidad de un nuevo orden económico mundial. Los países, conscientes del paradigma de la Globalización, han adoptado estrategias para enfrentar los retos que este fenómeno les impone, como es la exigencia de una posición más competitiva frente al resto del mundo y el reconocimiento de la cooperación y el funcionamiento en bloque para fortalecer las posiciones e intereses conjuntos de grupos regionales. Asimismo, los territorios regionales y locales también deben plantear nuevos caminos alternativos, acordes con la realidad contemporánea, donde las identidades regionales y locales cobran especial importancia y donde la articulación de lo global con lo local es indispensable.
