Neue Evidenz zur beruflichen Situation von Klinikärzten in Deutschland

Abstract

Der vorliegende Bericht knüpft an den jüngst erschienenen Wochenbericht über die berufliche Situation junger Klinikärzte in Deutschland an. Das große Medienecho weist auf die Brisanz des Themas hin. Die von einigen Seiten geäußerte Kritik2 reicht bis zu Zweifeln an der wissenschaftlichen Substanz. An dieser Stelle soll deshalb der methodische Hintergrund, insbesondere die Solidität der zugrunde liegenden Datenbasis, näher betrachtet werden. Außerdem ist es mit den nunmehr vorliegenden Daten aus dem Mikrozensus 2003 möglich, die im ersten Bericht für 2002 ermittelten Ergebnisse auf ihren Aussagegehalt zu überprüfen. Im Vordergrund stehen jedoch neue Erkenntnisse, vor allem die Arbeitszeit junger Klinikärzte betreffend.
