Industrieproduktion in Deutschland: Tempoabschwächung auf hohem Niveau

Abstract

Die Industrieproduktion ist in diesem Jahr der Motor der Konjunkturentwicklung in Deutschland. Die positiven Erwartungen vom Jahresanfang wurden sogar noch übertroffen. Die Industrie profitierte in hohem Ausmaß von der dynamischen Nachfrage aus dem Ausland. Die anhaltend günstige wirtschaftliche Entwicklung in den wichtigsten Abnehmerländern der deutschen Industrie sowie der niedrige Eurokurs ließen die Exporte nochmals kräftig anziehen. Ob die Industrie auch im nächsten Jahr die Rolle des Konjunkturmotors in Deutschland übernehmen kann, ist allerdings fraglich: Zwar sind einerseits angesichts der kräftig zunehmenden Kapazitätsauslastung in einigen Branchen zusätzliche Impulse aus der inländischen Investitionsgüternachfrage zu erwarten, doch ist andererseits mit einer Abkühlung der weltwirtschaftlichen Dynamik zu rechnen.
