Polen: Realwirtschaftliche Erfolge - Monetäre Probleme

Abstract

Die Aufwaertsentwicklung der polnischen Wirtschaft haelt auch 1995 an. Weiterhin sind die Exporte eine Triebfeder des Wachstums. Aber auch die Investitionstaetigkeit zog in den ersten Monaten des Jahres 1995 verstaerkt an; hier haben Steuer- und Abgabenentlastungen wichtige Impulse gegeben. Eine stabile und kraeftige Investitionsbelebung ist damit allerdings noch nicht gesichert. Ob es dazu kommt, wird in den naechsten Jahren in erheblichem Masse von geld- und lohnpolitischen Massnahmen abhaengen. Beide Politikbereiche blockieren sich aber gegenseitig: Einerseits steigen die Nominalloehne weiterhin sehr stark und halten damit die Inflationsrate hoch. Andererseits kann die Geldpolitik nicht durchgreifend gelockert werden, solange der Inflationssockel hoch und die Gefahr einer erneuten Beschleunigung der Preissteigerung gross bleibt.
