Bydgoszcz-Toruń Functional (Metropolitan) Area in the Light of Selected Aspects

Abstract

The aim of the paper is both delimitation attempt and characteristics of Bydgoszcz-Toruń Functional (Metropolitan) Area, in the light of selected indicators relating to socio-demographic determinants and functional relationships of the analysed area. Issues relating to socio-demographic factors are shown in the background of the situation in Poland. However, a functional relationship was analysed in the context of transport links and public transport situation in the metropolitan area.
