Telecommuting - chances and threats

Abstract

Increasingly difficult conditions and competition in the global marketplace coexisting with the development of modern computer and communications technologies requires enterprises to embrace employment flexibility. The specific and continually relatively seldom applied form of untypical employment is telecommuting. The article contains details about the author’s formulation of her specific features, advantages and conditions of implementing telecommuting from the worker's, the employer’s and the economic perspective.
