Las relaciones de poder y la comunicación en las organizaciones: una fuente de cambio

Abstract

En este artículo se busca analizar el vínculo que existe entre la comunicación y el poder, y conocer el efecto que dicho vínculo puede tener en el cambio que las organizaciones viven a diario. Para alcanzar los objetivos propuestos, el trabajo se centra en el concepto de relaciones de poder desde una perspectiva relacional, orientada hacia los procesos de comunicación, y teniendo en cuenta su incidencia en los procesos organizacionales. Para esto, se utilizará una metodología descriptiva para clarificar algunas definiciones de los conceptos de comunicación y poder. Después, se utilizará una metodología interpretativa para analizar su aplicación en un entorno organizacional y su impacto sobre el ser humano en el lugar de trabajo. Power Relations and Organizational Communication: A Source of Change This article seeks to analyze the link between comunication and power, and stablish the effect that this link can have in organizational change. To reach the proposed aims, this article use the concept of power from a relational perspective, orientated towards the processes of comunication, looking his impact on the organizational processes. For this, it is used a descriptive methodology to clarify some definitions of the concepts of communication and power. Then, use an interpretive methodology to analyze their application in an organizational environment and its impact on human beings in the workplace.
