TLC y exportaciones: la apuesta por la estabilidad del comercio

Abstract

En este artículo se trabajan las características de laestructura del comercio exterior en las últimas dosdécadas, presentando la relevancia de las exportacionesno tradicionales. Se comienza por mostrar elsoporte teórico del comercio internacional. Luegose presenta cómo el TLC se convierte en la opciónpara volver permanente las preferencias unilateralesde los EEUU, donde son los sectores ya beneficiadospor el ATPDEA los que van a mantener sus privilegios,ante el posible rezago de otros sectores sensiblescomo los intensivos en capital y la agricultura.Por último, se hace hincapié en la necesidad de unmodelo de desarrollo industrial acorde con las condicionesestructurales de los territorios en el país.
