Determinantes del precio de la energía eectrica en el mercado no regulado en Colombia

Abstract

Este artículo analiza los aspectos que determinan el precio de la energía parael mercado no regulado en Colombia. Primero hace un análisis de la reestructuración del sector de energía eléctrica, que da origen a los usuarios regulados y los no regulados. Después examina los componentes que influyen sobre el mercado no regulado, explicando los elementos regulatorios concernientes a este tipo de usuarios. Finalmente se estima un modelo econométrico de series temporales SARIMAX que determina cómo diferentes variables (demanda, precio y aportes hídricos) influyen en el precio de los contratos no regulados y se explican los resultados
