Calidad de vida laboral en empleados temporales del Valle de Aburrá - Colombia

Abstract

Con el fin de responder a las necesidades de un medio laboral cada vez más exigente y que corre el gran riesgo de deshumanizar sus relaciones por una competitividad concebida para alcanzar resultados inmediatos, se busca conocer la apreciación que tienen los empleados temporales del Valle de Aburra frente a la calidad de vida laboral lograda en su trabajo. Es una investigación cuantitativa y de enfoque empírico- analítico. Se trabajó con una muestra de doscientos (200) hombres y mujeres. Como herramienta de evaluación se utilizó el instrumento de calidad de vida laboral de GOHISALO.De los resultados se puede decir que los empleados temporales refieren una mediana satisfacción frente a necesidades fisiológicas, de seguridad y afiliación; e insatisfacción en las necesidades de autorrealización, reconocimiento, creatividad y necesidades de descanso. Los resultados muestran un panorama sombrío sobre la calidad de vida laboral que obtiene este tipo de empleados, los cuales hacen parte del fenómeno al que se refiere por primera vez la OIT, en 1974: precariedad laboral.
