Determinantes de la fecundidad en el Departamento de Antioquia

Abstract

reSumeNDe acuerdo con el último censo del DANE en Colombia, en el departamentode Antioquia la tasa de fecundidad global ha disminuido, lo que ha llevadoa una mejor posición social de la mujer en la región. Sin embargo, latasa de adolescentes embarazadas aumentó en los últimos diez anos,debido a los cambios en los indicadores socioeconómicos como el nivelde educación, la situación laboral, el lugar de residencia, la mortalidadinfantil y la nupcialidad. Este comportamiento de la tasa de fecundidad enel departamento es importante debido a que permite estimar el crecimientoaproximado de la población y la tendencia del comportamiento sexual desus habitantes.SummarYAccording to DANE´s (Statistics National Administrative Department) lastcensus in Colombia, global fertility rate in the department of Antioquia hasdiminished, evolving in a better social position for women in the region.Nevertheless, pregnancy rates in adolescent women has increased in thelast ten years, due to changes in socio-economical indicators such aseducation level, work situation, place of residence, infant mortality andmarriage.This behavior in the fertility rate of the department is important to determinean approximate growth in the population as well as the sexual behaviortrends of its inhabitants.reSumoDe acordo com o último censo do DANE na Colombia, no departamentode Antioquia a taxa de fecundidade global tem diminuido, o que tem levadoa uma melhor posicao social da mulher na regiao. No entanto, a taxa deadolescentes grávidas aumentou nos últimos dez anos, devido as mudancasnos indicadores socio-economicos como o nível de educacao, a situacaolaboral, o lugar de residencia, a mortalidade infantil e a nupcialidade. Estecomportamento da taxa de fecundidade no departamento é importantedevido a que permite estimar o crescimento aproximado da populacao etendencia do comportamento sexual de seus habitantes.rÉSumÉSelon le dernier recensement du DANE en Colombie, dans le départementd´Antioquia, le taux de fécondité a diminué, ce qui a conduit a une meilleureposition sociale des femmes dans la région.Toutefois, le taux de grossesse chez les adolescentes a augmenté au coursdes dix dernieres années en raison des changements socio-économiquescomme le niveau de scolarité, l´emploi, le lieu de résidence, la mortalitéinfantile et la nuptialité.Ce comportement du taux de fécondité dans le département est importantcar cela permet d´estimer la croissance approximative de la population et latendance du comportement sexuel de ses habitants.
