El rol del empresario en la cohesión social

Abstract

Caracterizada por una continua marginalidad y constante exclusión social,la sociedad colombiana ha tenido un crecimiento económico aislado delcrecimiento social, en donde el atributo social ha tenido eventos no deseablescomo el desplazamiento, la violencia, la marginalidad juvenil, la indiferencia,el desempleo, etc. El actual estado de estas variables no apoya los procesosde productividad y competitividad del país, lo que genera menos atracciónde inversión en diferentes sectores económicos. Es en este escenario dondeel empresario debe tomar el rol de agente cohesionador, lograr un cambioen su modelo mental frente a la dirección de su empresa, caracterizándosepor mejorar, comprender y ejecutar virtudes destacables en el empresario demodo acorde con lo descrito por Fernando Savater. Así mismo, la empresalogra más sentido de pertenecía en la situación real del país siendo socialen su visión, pública en su imagen y privada en su operación (Restrepo,2009). Tanto se ha hablado de responsabilidad social y cohesión socialcon pobre enriquecimiento conceptual, a tal punto que el discurso, en lamayoría de los casos, se ha tomado como un apalancamiento fi lantrópicoy una actividad crematística que pasa de ser una responsabilidad a unagestión de limosna continua.ABSTRACTTHE ROLE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SOCIAL COHESIONCharacterized by the continuous marginality and constant social exclusion,Colombian society has had an economic growth isolated from social growth,where the social attribute has had undesirable events such as violence, youthmarginality, indifference, unemployment and displacements. The current stateof these variables does not support productivity and the competitive processes,generating less interest for investors in different economic sectors. In thisscenario, the entrepreneur must take a cohesion agent role and make a changein his mental model facing its company´s direction, trying always to improve,understand and perform outstanding entrepreneurial virtues such as describedby Fernando Savater.Companies develop a greater sense of belonging facingthe country´s reality by having a more social Vision and a more public andprivate image in its operation (Restrepo, 2009). Much has been said aboutcohesion and social responsibility with a poor concept to an extent wherethe speech, in most cases, has been taken as a philanthropic leverage anda financial activity that changes responsibility into a constant charity gesture.RESUMOO PAPEL DO EMPRESÁRIO NA COESAO SOCIALCaracterizada por uma contínua marginalidade e constante exclusao social,a sociedade colombiana há tido um crescimento economico isolado docrescimento social, onde o atributo social tem apresentado eventos naodesejáveis como o deslocamento forcado de proprietários e trabalhadoresrurais para as cidades, a violencia, a marginalidade juvenil, a indiferenca,o desemprego, etc. O atual estado destas variáveis nao apoia os processosde produtividade e competitividade do país, o que gera menor atracaode investimentos em diferentes setores economicos. É neste cenário onde oempresário deve assumir o papel de agente de coesao, lograr uma mudancano seu modelo mental diante da direcao da sua empresa, caracterizando-sepor melhorar, compreender e executar virtudes destacáveis no empresário deacordo com o modo descrito por Fernando Savater. Assim mesmo, a empresaalcanca maior sentido de pertencimento identidade e responsabilidade nasituacao real do país sendo social na sua visao, pública na sua imageme privada na sua operacao (Restrepo, 2009). Tanto se tem falado deresponsabilidade social e coesao social com pobre enriquecimento conceitual,a tal ponto que o discurso, na maioria dos casos, tem-se tomado como umalavancamento filantrópico e uma atividade crematística que passa de seruma responsabilidade a uma gestao de esmola contínua.RÉSUMÉLE ROLE DE L´ENTREPRENEUR DANS LA COHÉSION SOCIALECaractérisé par une maginalisation continue et une exclusion socialepermanente, la société colombienne a été une croissance économiqueisolé de la croissance sociale, ou l´attribut social a eu des événementsindésirables tels que le déplacement, la violence, la marginalisation desjeunes, l´indifférence, le chomage, etc. Le statut actuel de ces variables nesoutient pas les processus de la productivité et la compétitivité du pays,générant moins d´attraction de l´investissement dans différents secteurséconomiques. C´est a ce stade ou l´employeur doit prendre le role d´agentde cohésion, des changements dans ses modeles mentaux face a la directionde son entreprise, caractérisée par une amélioration et exécution des vertusremarquables dans les affaires d´une maniere conforme a celle décrite parFernando Savater. D´outre part, l´entreprise a plus sens d´appartenance ala situation réelle du pays avec une vision social, une image public et unfonctionnement (Restrepo, 2009). On a beaucoup parlé de responsabilitésociale et cohésion sociale avec un cadre conceptuel pauvre, ce que veuxdire que dans la plupart des cas ces notions ont été considérés comme uneactivité philanthropique et financiere que passant d´une responsabilité degestion a une aumone continue.
