Ciencia y desarrollo: evolución de la cultura y comunidad académica en Venezuela durante el gobierno de la revolución bolivariana socialista

Abstract

Se presenta un análisis crítico a la evolución del sistema científico y la comunidad académica de laRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela, teniendo como horizonte temporal la última década, la cualcoincide con la presencia del gobierno revolucionario. De esta manera, se abordan las transformacionesdel sistema institucional, identificando al mismo como un aparato ideológico que pone endebate la forma cómo se entiende y se ejecuta el trabajo científico en este contexto local. Comofruto de la amplia revisión documental realizada, se concluye haciendo un llamado a la consolidaciónde una métrica objetiva del sistema de ciencia y tecnología que reduzcan las distorsiones delsistema y que genere un ambiente favorable al margen de la presión política existente.
