Abstract

Este documento responde a la necesidad de varias instituciones regionales, entre éstas el Observatorio Económico y Social y la Mesa de Turismo, de conocer con precisión el PIB del turismo del Valle del Cauca. Para este efecto, los autores proponen una metodología para el cálculo de la cuenta satélite que permita construir las cuentas piloto satélites del turismo para el departamento del Valle del Cauca que garantice información relevante para el conocimiento del sector y su dinámica.
