Impacto del TLC sobre las Exportaciones del Valle del Cauca. 1980-2005
Abstract
A partir de la evoluci�n de las exportaciones del Valle del Cauca a Estados Unidos en el periodo 1980-2005, este trabajo busca conocer y concluir si las preferencias arancelarias que le fueron otorgadas a Colombia a trav�s del Atpa en 1992 y el Atpdea en el 2002 tuvieron efectos positivos en las exportaciones de la regi�n y de esta manera determinar si el Tratado de Libre Comercio va a tener un impacto positivo, considerando que se incluyeron todos los productos en el acuerdo. Los resultados revelaron que las exportaciones totales del Valle del Cauca a Estados Unidos en los �ltimos cinco a�os se han incrementado. Los mejores resultados tanto en el an�lisis descriptivo como en el modelo econom�trico se obtuvieron para: perlas, piedras y metales preciosos, espec�ficamente el oro; aluminio y sus manufacturas; manufacturas de cuero, art�culos de viaje y bolsos (bolsos de mano); preparaciones alimenticias diversas, preparaciones a base de cereal, leche y pasteler�a; manufacturas de fundici�n de hierro y acero; fundici�n de hierro y acero; aparatos el�ctricos, aparatos de grabar imagen; productos farmac�uticos; art�culos de sombrereria y sus partes; muebles; az�cares, art�culos y confiter�a; papel, cart�n y sus manufacturas.Download Info
