Abstract

RESUMEN: En este artículo se presentan los peligros que la globalización, las nuevas tecnologías y la sociedad del conocimiento, pueden presentar para la Universidad Pública, si ella no defiende su identidad como Institución pública, de carácter cultural y de servicio social. Basado en los trabajos de Boaventura de Sousa Santos se senala la crisis de hegemonía, de legitimidad y de institucionalidad por la que atraviesan las universidades públicas y se presentan alternativas para la construcción de un Proyecto no-hegemónico.
