La moneda en la teoría francesa de la regulación

Abstract

En este artículo se hace una descripción de los puntos centrales que caracterizaronla evolución de los estudios específicamente monetarios, en losautores de la Teoría Francesa de la Regulación. Primeramente, se reconoceque en el periodo en el cual los autores enfocaron el análisis con base en lateoría del valor, presentaron la moneda como equivalente general y pusierona los símbolos de crédito al mismo nivel que el dinero del banco central.Seguidamente, se describe el cambio de orientación de la corrienteregulacionista, hacia un análisis que privilegia el carácter de la monedacomo institución social, originada fuera del mercado.__________ABSTRACT:This document describes the basics aspects in the evolution of the approachof the French Regulation Theory, specifically in the monetary discussion. Inthe beginning, the document shows that the regulacionist approach, basedon the value theory, understands money as general equivalent, and gives tothe credit money and central bank money a similar status. The expositionfollows with the change of orientation of the regulacionist monetary studies,toward an analysis that emphasizes the role of the money as social institution,originated outside the market.
