Abstract

Este ensayo breve es el antecedente de un trabajo de investigación en curso,que teniendo por objeto el estudio de la situación de Colombia en laactualidad, se preocupa por proponer una forma de ser de la universidadcolombiana en el escenario de los grandes cambios políticos, económicos,tecnológicos y sociales que hoy ocurren en el mundo. Desde esa perspectiva,el ensayo pretende sugerir cómo la Institución puede contribuir a reconstruirnación, paso indispensable para salir de la tragedia humana que hoy, másque nunca, conmueve la vida de los colombianos._________ABSTRACT:This report is framed into a bigger research project on the current Colombiansituation. It is a preliminary research report which states the role thatColombian universities have regarding political, economic, technologicaland social changes currently happening around the world. It aims at givingsuggestions of how universities can contribute to re-build the nation, sinceit is expected that scholars heal the wounds of a convulsive society.
