Modelo tecnológico para el desarrollo de proyectos logísticos usando Lean Six Sigma

Abstract

El presente artículo describe un modelo propuesto por los autores, cuyo propósito es el de orientar a las empresas en el mejoramiento de su desempeno logístico, analizado desde la perspectiva de incremento del nivel de servicio y reducción de costos. Para esto, se utilizaron conceptos de cadena de suministros, logística, manufactura esbelta, seis sigma y lean six sigma. La metodología propuesta para el desarrollo del modelo es la DMAIC (Definir, Medir, Analizar, Mejorar y Controlar), soportada en diversas herramientas seleccionadas para cada fase de la misma, y que conducen a la eliminación del desperdicio en flujos y operaciones, reducción del tiempo de entrega, reducción de la variación en los procesos y el aumento de valor.
