Caso De Estudio: Índice Elcano: Oportunidades Y Riesgos Estratégicos Para La Economía Colombiana

Abstract

Este caso es la aplicación práctica del índice Elcano, desarrollado por el RealInstituto Elcano de Estudios Internacionales y Estratégicos de Espana. Esteíndice mide el grado de interdependencia de la economía de un país, con respectoa otros países. El objetivo de este trabajo es su aplicación práctica alcaso colombiano, utilizando para tal efecto variables conforme a la realidadmacroeconómica. Los países con los cuales se ha realizado la comparación son Bolivia, Brasil, Canadá, Chile, Ecuador, Estados Unidos, Espana, México, Perú y Venezuela, con los cuales Colombia tiene una mayor interrelacióncomercial y económica. Los resultados demuestran que su aplicación al escenariocolombiano es válida y permite desarrollar importantes estrategias enlas relaciones comerciales internacionales.
