Abstract

En este trabajo se estiman funciones de oferta de las exportaciones menores colombianas desagregadas por regiones (Norteamerica, America Latina, Europa)y por productos. Las principales variables independientes que se tuvieron en cuenta fueron el precio relativo real, la capacidad instalada y el salario real. El modelo utilizado parte del supuesto que las exportaciones menores no son excedentes, como ha sido el consenso en la literatura, sino que se trata, en su mayoría, de producción destinada específicamente al mercado exterior. La información estadística que se utiliza es la de cuentas del comercio exterior de las Naciones Unidas. Para las exportaciones menores colombianas se tomó que los demás países registran que importan de Colombia y lo que éste país reporta de las exportaciones.
