    Abstract

Abstract Frederick Taylor introduces knowledge to train the eye of factory managers in order to detect the imperceptible or consciously unsolved problems that distress them, and from this knowledge, to plan effective administrative techniques and practices to work them out. Therefore, this knowledge gives rise to new foundations of power. The scientific management aims at regaining control of the central aspects of administration and to place it firmly in the hands of the management, thus restricting the workers participation to the mere execution of productive tasks, giving birth to a co-operation actively regulated and planned by the management. These innovating ways of subtracting the surplus value take root due to a reorganization of the mechanisms of the disciplinary power introduced by the manufacture and the factory for the formation of «the collective labourer and the collective machinery» as well as the integration of new elements, thus highlighting the dominating effects upon the workers multiplicities.
