Economía de la familia: una aplicación empírica del modelo unitario para Colombia

Abstract

El artículo expone los elementos sustanciales del modelo unitario en la perspectiva de Samuelson (consenso)[1956] , con el propósito de discutir la fortaleza teórica de los supuestos de preferencias de grupo y el fondo de ingresos común. El desarrollo del modelo empírico aplicado en esta vía busca corroborar si estas presuposiciones teóricas se sostienen en el caso colombiano para la información disponible, analizando además las implicaciones que en política social tiene el implementar el modelo unitario.
