Abstract

En este artículo, primero caracterizamos el mercado de transporte aéreo comercial en Colombia y luego desarrollamos un modelo de reputación que describe la relación entre aerolíneas y consumidores. Con base en el trabajo pionero de Grossman y Hart (1986) modelamos la integración horizontal entre firmas, con posterior aplicación al caso de la Alianza Summa. Por último, consideramos los resultados y las posibles implicaciones de la Alianza Summa para la sociedad.
