Die Beschäftigung von AkademikerInnen in Österreich 1981-2001 nach Studienrichtungen und Branchen

Abstract

Am Institut für Demographie wurde aus den Volkszählungen 1981, 1991 und 2001 ein Datenbestand aufgebaut, der es erlaubt, die österreichische Wohnbevölkerung nach der höchsten abgeschlossenen Ausbildung mit anderen demographischen Kategorien, wie z. B. Alter oder Geschlecht, aber auch mit Kategorien aus dem Berufs- und Wirtschaftsbereich zu kombinieren. Der Artikel konzentriert sich erstens auf die Verteilung der akademisch ausgebildeten Erwerbspersonen nach Studienrichtungsgruppen und ihre Veränderungen im Beobachtungszeitraum, zweitens auf die Verteilung der Erwerbspersonen in den einzelnen universitären Studienrichtungsgruppen auf die Wirtschaftsklassen und ihre Veränderungen zwischen 1981 und 2001.
