Determinanten des Individualeinkommens abhängig Erwerbstätiger in Österreich. Ein Vergleich von 1986, 1993 und 2004

Abstract

ln diesem Beitrag wird untersucht, welche Faktoren das Einkommen abhängig Erwerbstätiger in Österreich bestimmen und wie sich die einzelnen Faktoren in den Jahren 1986. 1993 und 2003/04 verändert haben. Datengrundlage ist der Soziale Survey Österreich; in dieser Erhebung wurden 1986, 1993 sowie 2003/04 jeweils rund 2.000 Österreicherinnen befragt. Inhaltlich zeigt sich eine Bedeutungszunahme von erworbenen Merkmalen. Das Ausbildungsniveau wurde über die Jahre hinweg immer bedeutender, vor allem bei Frauen. Die soziale Herkunft war nur 1986 relevant, ist es heute aber nicht mehr.
