Abstract

En el cultivo del brócoli las actividades manuales son indispensables y coadyuvan en la generación de riesgos laborales en jornaleros agrícolas. Este artículo tiene por objetivo analizar la tarea de cosecha de brócoli en sus tres métodos (colotes, avioneta y banda), e identificar las regiones corporales de los trabajadores mayormente afectadas y con mayor riesgo de padecer molestias musculoesqueléticas (MME). Se registraron en video grabación posturas y movimientos durante la tarea en situación real, las cuales fueron analizadas con el método RULA, el cual permite conocer las partes del cuerpo más afectadas en el aspecto musculoesquelético al desarrollar la tarea, incluyendo la fuerza aplicada. De acuerdo a los resultados arrojados por éste método se encontró que las regiones corporales con alto riesgo de presentar MME fueron brazo, antebrazo y tronco. La recomendación sugerida por el método es realizar inmediatamente cambios en el diseño de la tarea, para logra lo anterior es necesario realizar estudios más profundos para encontrar alternativas que disminuyan el riesgo.
