Steuermehreinnahmen und Steuerquote wachsen weiter – Zu den Ergebnissen der Steuerschätzung vom Mai 2017

Abstract

Der Arbeitskreis »Steuerschätzungen« hat die Steueraufkommensprognose für die Jahre ab 2017 in Folge der guten Entwicklung der Steuereinnahmen im vergangenen Jahr und der guten konjunkturellen Lage nach oben korrigiert. Für das laufende Jahr erhöhte der Arbeitskreis seine Prognose um fast 8 Mrd. Euro und für das Jahr 2021 sogar um rund 16,5 Mrd. Euro. Während die Aufwärtskorrektur in diesem und im kommenden Jahr vor allem auf die höhere Ausgangsbasis im vergangenen Jahr zurückzuführen ist, kommt in der mittleren Frist eine optimistischere Einschätzung der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Entwicklung hinzu.
