Expectations of German Companies on Donald Trump’s Trade Policy

Abstract

The Ifo Business Survey for February included special questions on the expectations of German companies regarding the trade policy of the new US administration. The majority of the companies surveyed expect protectionist measures from the US government, but they do not fear any loss of sales.
