Climate Notes: Soil Sealing in Germany and Europa

Abstract

Soil sealing is increasingly taking place all over the planet. The reasons for rising space requirements - mainly due to population and/or economic growth - differ little from country to country. The same applies to the effects of soil sealing. This article looks at the situation in Germany as a case study and places it in the European context.
