UNCTAD World Investment Report 2013: Trends in Foreign Direct Investment

Abstract

In the context of the World Investment Report 2013, UNCTAD publishes detailed data and analyses of the latest trends in foreign direct investment. This article summarises key developments in recent years and elaborates on the main topic of this year’s report: “Global Value-Creation Chains – Growth Investments and Trade to Promote Growth”.
