Abstract

The indicator for the Ifo World Economic Climate resumed an upwards trend after two successive decreases. While assessments of the current business situation improved only slightly, positive expectations for the next six months in particular contributed to an increase in the indicator. After the standstill of the last six months, the world economy seems to be regaining its footing.
