Tax revenue forecast: Improved economy to bring considerable additional revenueResults of the tax revenue forecast of November 2010

Abstract

The tax revenue forecast working group, in its 137th meeting, revised considerably upwards its forecast of tax revenue. The additional revenue is particularly attributable to clearly improved economic factors. In structural terms, tax revenue has changed only insignificantly. The tax ratio is only increasing incrementally. The need for budget consolidation remains.
