Abstract

Die Preise auf den Märkten für Milch und Milcherzeugnisse in den Ländern der EU waren in den vergangenen drei Jahren heftigen Preisbewegungen unterworfen. Nach den Preissteigerungen 2007 folgte bereits im Jahr 2008 ein Abrutschen der Preise, und im Laufe dieses Jahres waren die Erzeugerpreise auf so niedrigem Niveau wie noch nie seit Bestehen der gemeinsamen Marktpolitik in der EU. Der vorliegende Beitrag diskutiert die Ursachen dieser Preisschwankungen.
