Abstract

As a supplement to the articles in ifo Schnelldienst 3/2006, Eberhard Jochem, ETH Zurich, and Harald Bradke, Fraunhofer Institute Systems and Innovation Research, argue that supply security can be achieved by utilising efficiency potentials. In their opinion, this could halve the increase of worldwide energy demand within 50 years.
