Industry branch report: Comments and data on the world beer market

Abstract

In 2004 beer production increased worldwide by around 4.8% over the previous year. In Europe the growth was 2.5% whereas in Germany a 1.2% decline was reported. Beer output increased primarily in the Eastern European states.
