Nur moderates Wachstum der Bauwirtschaft in diesem Jahrzehnt

Abstract

Nach der ersten gesamtdeutschen Bauvorausschätzung, die das ifo Institut für die nächsten zehn Jahre erstellt hat, dürfte die Baunachfrage keinen Grund zur Euphorie geben, denn das durchschnittliche reale Wachstum wird pro Jahr nicht einmal 1% betragen. Bereits 2003 wird jedoch das reale Bauvolumen - nach Erreichen des Tiefpunkts in diesem Jahr - um 1 1/2 bis 2% zulegen. Im Wohnungsbau werden die Fertigstellungen ab dem nächsten Jahr wieder ansteigen und 2006 rund 400 000 Wohneinheiten erreichen. Danach wird die Wohnungsproduktion wieder leicht abnehmen. Im Nichtwohnbau wird sich die Nachfrage im Wirtschaftsbau günstiger als im öffentlichen Bau entwickeln.
