Travel industry 2001 - a difficult year

Abstract

The German travel industry experienced a difficult year in 2001. Up to June 2001, the turnover of travel agents stagnated, and dramatic declines were encountered in September. The indicators for 2002 are also not favourable. The winter semester 2001/2002, which accounts for 20% of annual business, got off to a very slow start
