Wohnungsfertigstellungen in den alten Bundesländern: Nord-West- statt Süd-Nord-Gefälle?

    Abstract

    Nach wie vor sinkt in Westdeutschland die Zahl der Wohnungsfertigstellungen, auch wenn die Abnahmeraten - dank der Entwicklung im Eigenheimbau - kleiner werden. Besonders betroffen von dem Rückgang sind 1999 und 2000 die nördlichen und zentralen Teile Westdeutschlands, während sich sonst eine Stabilisierung bzw. für 2000 teilweise auch wieder ein leichter Anstieg abzeichnet. Eine kleinräumigere Differenzierung zeigt ein deutliches Gefälle der Fertigstellungen von den nord- zu den westdeutschen Regionen, wodurch inzwischen das früher ausgeprägte Süd-Nord-Gefälle überlagert wird. Dies sind einige Ergebnisse der Abschnitte über Wohnungsfertigstellungen in der neuen Auflage der "ifo Bauvorausschätzung/Regionen in Westdeutschland".
