Erstaunlich stabile Investitionsneigung im westdeutschen Einzelhandel

Abstract

Der Einzelhandel hat in den alten Bundesländern 1992 mit 22,6 Mrd. DM um fast 16% mehr investiert als 1991. Die erneute kräftige Steigerung der Investitionsausgaben ist um so bemerkenswerter als sich zahlreiche westdeutsche Handelsunternehmen in den neuen Bundesländern engagiert haben. Wenn die im März/April 1993 gemeldeten Pläne realisiert werden, erreichen die Investitionsausgaben des Einzelhandels in Westdeutschland 1993 - trotz rückläufiger Umsätze - wieder das hohe Niveau des Vorjahres. Die Investitionsquote würde sich dann sogar auf den neuen Rekordwert von 3,5% erhöhen. Die - in den genannten Zahlen nicht enthaltenen - Leasinginvestitionen sollen 1993 weiter gesteigert werden.
