Getränkesektor sieht überwiegend optimistisch in die Zukunft

Abstract

Der Bierausstoß stieg 1989 erstmals wieder leicht an, alkoholarme und -freie Biere waren auf dem Vormarsch. Unter anderem wegen der stabilen Preise stieg der Pro-Kopf-Verbrauch an Wein 1988/89 um 0,3 l gegenüber dem Vorjahr. Der Sektverbrauch stieg um 2%, der Spirituosenmarkt blieb stabil. Der Markt für alkoholfreie Getränke ist gekennzeichnet durch steigenden Verbrauch an Wässern (+ 12%) und Innovationen auf dem Erfrischungsgetränkesektor. Bei sehr niedrigem Preisniveau stieg der Kaffeeverbrauch auf eine neue Rekordmarke. Der Verbrauch von Schwarztee verringerte sich, vermutlich zugunsten von Früchtetees. Der Milchverbrauch stagnierte. Bei geringer Verteuerung (im Durchschnitt 1%) gaben die Verbraucher 4% mehr für Getränke aus, als im Vorjahr. Auch 1990 wird mit weiterem Wachstum des Getränkemarktes gerechnet. Vor allem die zahlreichen Aus- und Übersiedler geben Impulse. Auch in der DDR dürften sich erhebliche Wachstumschancen öffnen. (Vergleich des Getränkekonsums der DDR mit der Bundesrepublik).
