Der flächendeckende Mindestlohn in Ost- und Westdeutschland: Erwartungen undWirklichkeit

Abstract

Im März 2016 befragte das ifo Institut im Rahmen seines monatlichen Konjunkturtests die Unternehmen zum Thema Mindestlohn. Insgesamt sind 46 % der ostdeutschen und 34 % der westdeutschen Befragungsteilnehmer vom Mindestlohn betroffen. Die betroffenen Unternehmen reagierten am häufigsten mit Preiserhöhungen und einer Verkürzung der Arbeitszeit. Im Vergleich zu den im November 2014 formulierten Erwartungen der Unternehmen stieg die Betroffenheitsquote an, während zugleich nicht alle geplanten Anpassungsmaßnahmen bislang auch umgesetzt wurden.
