Öffentliche Ausgaben der Länder für Bildung

Abstract

Bildung ist eine der zentralen Aufgaben der Bundesländer. In dem vorliegenden Beitrag werden die Ausbildungskosten in den 16 Bundesländern verglichen. Dazu werden mit Hilfe von amtlichen Daten die häufigsten Bildungskarrieren konstruiert. Ein Schwerpunkt der Untersuchung liegt dabei auf der vergleichsweise teuren universitären Ausbildung. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Bundesländern zeigt sich, dass die Bildungsausgaben in Sachsen relativ hoch sind. Bis zum Abitur investiert der Freistaat Sachen über 100.000€ in die Ausbildung eines Jugendlichen. Für einen durchschnittlichen Universitätsabsolventen werden über 155.000 € ausgegeben.
