    Abstract

    Der Beitrag präsentiert die Fortschreibung einer Langfristprojektion des sächsischen Landeshaushalts aus dem Jahr 2004. Zwischenzeitlich liegen neue, erheblich veränderte wirtschaftliche und finanzpolitische Daten vor. Zudem haben sich die Rahmenbedingungen z. B. durch die Einführung von Hartz IV oder die Einigung von Bund und neuen Ländern bzgl. Korb 2 des Solidarpakt II weiterentwickelt, sodass eine Revision und Fortschreibung der damaligen Berechnungen erforderlich ist. Die vorliegende Analyse verfolgt das Ziel, die längerfristigen fiskalischen Entwicklungen in Sachsen zu beleuchten und hierbei Risikoaspekte explizit in die Betrachtung aufzunehmen. Hierzu werden die sich gegenwärtig abzeichnenden Einnahmeentwicklungen dokumentiert, und ferner werden szenarische Überlegungen zu den potenziellen fiskalischen Risiken angestellt.
