Beschäftigungschancen für Geringqualifizierte nach wie vor schlecht

Abstract

In zahlreichen Studien wurde bisher gezeigt, dass insbesondere zwei Gruppen von Personen stark von Arbeitslosigkeit betroffen sind: Geringqualifizierte und Ältere. Dieser Beitrag analysiert zunächst die Qualifikations- und Altersstruktur der Erwerbspersonen im Jahr 2005 in Sachsen, Ost- und Westdeutschland. Daran anschließend werden die qualifikations- und altersspezifischen Arbeitslosenquoten für Sachsen für die Jahre 2004 und 2005 aktualisiert. Zusätzlich erfolgt eine Berechnung der qualifikationsspezifischen Arbeitslosenquoten für die sächsischen Regierungsbezirke. Insgesamt hat sich das Bild der qualifikationsspezifischen Arbeitslosenquoten über die letzten Jahre nicht verändert: Geringqualifizierte haben die schlechtesten Arbeitsmarktchancen, während eine akademische Ausbildung am ehesten vor Arbeitslosigkeit schützt. Diese Unterschiede zeigen sich in allen Regionen Sachsens sowie in Ost- und Westdeutschland gleichermaßen.
