Perspektiven 2003/2004: deutsche Konjunktur belebt sich wieder

Abstract

Die deutsche Wirtschaft befindet sich seit drei Jahren in der Flaute. Im 1. Halbjahr 2003 ging die gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktion sogar leicht zurück und die Beschäftigung nahm weiter ab. Seit der Jahresmitte gibt es jedoch erste Anzeichen einer Besserung: die Vertrauensindikatoren der Unternehmen weisen eindeutig nach oben. Die gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktion wird im Durchschnitt des Jahres 2003 stagnieren und im kommenden Jahr um 1,7% zunehmen. Zu diesem Anstieg trägt allerdings eine im Vergleich zu 2003 deutlich höhere Zahl von Arbeitstagen bei.
